North Florida Sewing Center: Beginner Sewing Class

Saturday, 10 am- 1 pm with Gopi Flick
No experience is necessary and all materials and sewing machine will be provided for students.
Learn to use a sewing machine in three hours. Students will start with the basics of how to work a sewing machine, practice sewing straight lines, stay-stitching and chain-piecing using 1/4 inch seam allowances.
Each student will leave the class with a small project they made.
For your personal safety, closed-toe shoes are required.
Long hair needs to be tied bacK.
Students must be at least 12 years old to attend. Minors 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (ideally taking the class as well).
All beginner sewing classes cover the same material.
