Join us at the Career Seminar Series, where teens explore the fascinating ways people make a living.
Our November speaker, Jim Wally, is an Environmental Engineer Project Manager at Innovative Technical Solutions. This career has great potential, requiring lateral skills like management, marketing, networking, and entrepreneurship to reach the highest levels.
The work is varied and interesting. Some days are full of project meetings, others are for doing calculations on the computer, and yet others are field days at construction sites, overseeing work.
What does Mr Wally like best about his job? Solving hard problems!
Attendees receive a career planning handout with answers to these questions and more:
- What training or qualification does this job require?
- What is the typical salary range?
- What is the growth outlook for this line of work in the future?
