Save the Date! Ichetucknee Springs State Park's Christmas Bird Count will be December 16th.
What is the Christmas Bird Count?
This is an annual, day-long citizen science project organized by the National Audubon Society that creates a census of bird populations all over North America. From December 14 to January 5, citizen scientists participate in counts within 15-mile-diameter circles, recording every bird they see to help track long-term population trends and inform conservation efforts. Ichetucknee Springs State Parks is the center of one of these circles.
