North Florida Sewing Center: Beginner Sewing Class

No experience is necessary, and all materials and a sewing machine will be provided for students.
Learn to use a sewing machine in just three hours. Students will start with the basics of how to work a sewing machine, practice sewing straight lines, stay-stitching, and chain-piecing using 1/4 inch seam allowances.
For your safety and the safety of others:
CLOSED-TOE SHOES ARE REQUIRED
Long hair will need to be restrained
If you are ill or have been ill within a week of class date, please do not attend. If you pre-pay, contact us to reschedule your class.
Each student will leave the class with a small project they made.
Students must be at least 12 years old to attend. Minors must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (ideally taking the class as well). If you have children age 8-11 interested in sewing classes, please email.
Each Beginning sewing class covers the same material, so no need to sign up for multiple classes.
