Melrose Bay Promenade 10 am-11 am
Lake Santa Fe Boat Parade starts at 11 am
To participate, decorate your boat and be there!
Where is the best place to see it? The answer: From a boat, or a dock!
One public place to see the initial “Promenade” (10 -10:45 AM), is the Melrose Bay Park, but parking is very limited. You may need to park a couple blocks away, and walk.
Unfortunately, there are very few places around the lake where the public can get a view of Lake Santa Fe, to see the parade well. Most lakefront is private property.
We will be starting from our staging area, just outside of the ‘Latchstring’ of cypress trees near the mouth of Melrose Bay, at 11 AM. Headed up the eastern shore, to ‘The Pass’, by 11:30 AM. Entering ‘Little Lake Santa Fe’. Finish circumnavigating ‘Little Lake Santa Fe ’ by Noon. Down the western shore of Lake Santa Fe, Passing by Earlton, near NE 100th Ave, around 12:15 PM Then down to the ‘Totem Pole Road’ neighborhood, in the SW corner of Lake Santa Fe. Then a bee-line along the south shore of the lake, back to the starting point.
