The Newberry Blues & BBQ Festival & Car Show is back for 2027 — and this year, we’re turning up the heat in a BIG way!
We’ve been working behind the scenes to make this year’s festival bigger, better, and more exciting than ever before.
NEW THIS YEAR — A SANCTIONED BACKYARD BBQ COMPETITION!
Our BBQ competition will be professionally organized and judged by the Florida BBQ Association, with more than $3,800 in cash prizes and trophies up for grabs!
NEW — PEOPLE’S CHOICE TASTING!
This time, you won’t just get to smell all that incredible competition BBQ cooking — you’ll get a chance to taste it! People’s Choice tasting tickets will allow festival attendees to sample competition BBQ and cast their vote for their favorite.
A MUCH BIGGER VENDOR MARKET!
We’re expanding the festival grounds and opening space for approximately twice as many general vendors, bringing even more shopping, local businesses, makers, unique finds, and festival food to Newberry.
THE CAR SHOW IS BACK!
Our friends at Gainesville Street Rods return with a 100-car Classic Car Show, complete with trophies for the winning cars.
AND OF COURSE — THE BLUES!
We’re bringing you live blues music throughout the day, with the concert kicking off at 11:00 AM and continuing through 4:00 PM.
