Gainesville hasn't always been as we experience it today! Long, long before the University and college kids, before the old Victorian Houses and railroad depots, before the Seminole and Spanish wrangled cattle on the Prairie, Native Americans lived and thrived in this area for thousands of years. On this tour, History Bike Gainesville and The Florida Museum will be leading riders on an exploration of pre-colonial archaeological sites on the University of Florida campus, as well as notable historic features that make the campus unique.

Ride Will Start Promptly at 11 AM. We suggest riders arrive at least 30 minutes prior for registration. The tour will last about 2 hours, starting and ending back at the Florida Museum.

There will be 40 tickets available for this tour
Safety First! It will be hot...BRING WATER!
