ALL middle and high school students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend Cupcakes & Conversations: College Discoveries, a two-part workshop series dedicated to sharing information about the college experience. On August 20th at 2 pm at the Alachua County Public Library (401 E. University Ave.), attendees will have the opportunity to learn from keynote speaker Dr. Carjie Scott with the Education Equalizer, ask questions of a panel of college students as they share their campus experience and engage with campus admissions and financial aid experts. On August 21st at 3 pm via Zoom, attendees will interact with local college resources on the topics of campus safety, budgeting for college, housing/residence life, benefits offered via the military and more.
