Get ready for an amazing day! Join us on Saturday, August 2nd from 9 am-12 pm at Legacy Park for the 2025 Back 2 School Giveaway! The Alachua Police Department and City of Alachua team are excited to partner with Just Between Friends of Gainesville as we hand out backpacks and school supplies to help kick off the new school year. Don’t miss out on the fun and freebies!
In addition to the giveaway, our team will be on site providing FREE fingerprinting ID kits for children-a great way for parents to keep important identifying information on hand. The child must be present in order to receive a backpack. Supplies are limited.
