Join us for an afternoon cooking class exploring the art of delicate Pastry’s. Students learn how to make a cooked Pate au choux pastry dough using a stovetop and then pipe the warm dough onto cookie sheets for baking. After the pastry cools students will have a choice of different cream fillings to fill their pastry designs as well as warm chocolate to drizzle over the top. The class focuses on piping skills, cooking the correct consistency for the dough and filling the pastry’s. This class requires some detailed work such as piping and filling warm delicate pastries for designs. Each student will go home with an assorted mix of pastries so a container is recommended for the finished pastries to be taken home. Aprons are recommended.
