Sugar Camp Ranch Horseback Riding Lessons

Sugar Camp Ranch offers Western Horsemanship Lessons for beginner to intermediate riders. Our emphasis is always safety first for both the horse and rider. Lessons offer a focus for pleasure/trail riding, ranch work, and introductory barrels/games.

Little Buckaroo Lessons
Ages 3-7 years old
Individual Lesson $25
30 minute session include:
-Horse Safety
-Grooming
-Leading/Groundwork
-Mounted Instruction

(If child shows an eagerness and ability to learn/ride for a longer duration we will consider moving to a full hour session as is listed below)

​Introduction to Western Horsemanship
​Ages 7 years +
Individual Lessons $35
60 minute sessions include:
-Horse Safety
-Catching
-Grooming
-Leading/Groundwork
-Tacking
-Mounted instruction
-Untacking
-Post Ride Grooming/Bathing

​*All students under the age of 18 must wear an equestrian riding helmet which we will provide if needed.

**Lessons are by appointment only and will begin and end at the scheduled time in order to be respectful of other riders and instructors.**
