Gainesville Cycling Club
The Gainesville Cycling Club is a loosely organized group formed for the purpose of riding bikes! It was formed in 1980 with about 25 local riders. The club was incorporated in 1991. Turn the clock forward, and membership has grown to over 800 members. The club features a diverse group of cyclists ranging from commuters, sightseeing groups, tandem riders, all the way to amateur bike racers.
The club also organizes regular picnic and social events for it's members.
