Join the Youth Steering Committee!

The City of Gainesville is taking part in the One Nation One Project. This is a national effort to bring our communities together. We will look at healing communities using the power of arts and wellness to reduce gun violence among young people. This has been rising especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.

We're looking for members for our Youth Steering Committee to help us understand how arts and culture can help prevent gun violence. If you're interested in being part of the committee, please fill out this application. We'll get in touch if you're selected, using the information you provide.

Members will be paid for their time, participate in monthly meetings for up to two hours per meeting and have opportunities to participate in special events as well.
