Happy Haven Homeschoolers: Homeschool Day at BizTown

Homeschool Families- I am working diligently to gather at least 80 homeschool students to experience BizTown next year, so there can be a “Homeschool Day at BizTown” We are VERY close to our goal already!

I am the “homeschool day” coordinator for JA BizTown. Since this event is more easily accessible for brick and mortar schools (just due to the fact that there needs to be a large group of students in order to participate), I wanted to find a way to help homeschool students gather and participate in BizTown as I work alongside the Alachua County JA BizTown coordinator.

This event has been free, and we expect it to continue being a free event for local students and students in surrounding counties!

Our tentative date for the simulation is the beginning of February.

In August, I will email all interested families about steps to register and how to move forward to make this goal a success. Help me spread the word so homeschool kids can experience this fantastic event!
