Figley Counseling & Associates
Figley Counseling & Associates is a group of licensed counselors and interns who have come together to create an environment Where Relationships Heal. More than just a tagline, this descriptor of who we are as a practice reminds us that who we are to each other matters if we are to serve as agents of healing for those who come to us for help.
As clinicians, we foster our relationships with each other by our twice-monthly shared lunches where we come together for 90 minutes for food, encouragement, shared presentations and discussions of how to grow in our skills as counselors, and prayer for each other and our families.
Evidence of the bond we share with one another is that no one wants to miss our monthly meetings, counselors and interns regularly seek each other out for encouragement and guidance between those meetings, and clinicians selflessly refer clients to their colleagues when they recognize that another counselor’s expertise in an area of counseling needs is a better fit for the client.
Services include counseling for young adults, adolescents and pre-adolescents, referrals for younger children, family counseling, and more
