While on the UF campus there are many areas to explore. Try walking along the trails by Lake Alice and the Baughman Center to see a few live alligators. Or if you visit a little before dusk you could see the thousands of bats emerge from their 'bat house' to fly off for an evening meal. You can walk right into Florida field and take a walk around the stadium bleachers (don't go on to the field, and watch out for runners doing stadium stairs). Walk through Turlington Plaza and hear the chimes ring in Century Tower (every 15 minutes).
