Headquarters Branch Library

The Headquarters Library of the Alachua County Library District offers weekly, monthly, and special programs for children, teens, and families in our spacious children’s area, teen area, and meeting room space. The Children’s area includes extra padded carpeting for easy snuggling and reading, Early Learning computer stations for children, internet computers for children 10 and under, toys, games, and our ever-popular peep box. There are both child sized and adult sized furniture areas to seat the whole family. Puzzles and coloring sheets are available upon request. The Teen Space hosts game days, movie days, and special programs. There are café tables, computers, and comfortable seating to encourage reading and hanging out.
