Hawthorne Branch Library
The Hawthorne Branch is temporarily closed. Starting Monday, February 9, library services will be provided from a Bookmobile located at the corner of S.E. 220 Terrace and S.E. 66 Avenue. The Bookmobile will be available for pickup of holds, informational help, and browsing from a small collection of materials during regular hours. During this time all programs will be paused. Grand opening will be Saturday, April 25, 2026!
The Hawthorne Branch of the Alachua County Library District offers children, teens, and families weekly, monthly, and special programs held in the community room. Additionally there is a children’s area and a teen area containing appropriate materials and furniture for the smallest to the tallest patrons.
