The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens has seven different hiking trails, 13 distinct ecosystems, curated gardens, and a variety of community-loved events.
The Arboretum is a place to walk through the woods, learn about plants and wildlife, view nature, and enjoy quiet solitude. The 136-acres that comprise JABG consist of freshwater and tidal marshes, upland hardwood forests, pine flatwoods, dry prairies, bottomland forests, live oak hammocks, and more.
The Arboretum serves as a green oasis in the midst of our city, providing a space for all guests to learn from and connect with nature.
