An Interactive Aquatic Adventure for all Ages! Explore the underwater world as never before! As you cross the threshold into the Encounter you will enter a tropical rainforest and visit our rescued macaws and parrots. Continuing your journey towards the Bay; you will have the opportunity to interact with some of nature’s most amazing sea creatures such as the Mantis Peacock Shrimp, a freshwater exhibit to show you what exactly lies under the local springs, and more! Our exhibitions include two touch tanks – one full of sea stars and urchins, and the affectionately nicknamed Ray Bay! There, our variety of friendly sting rays will happily fly up and accept a gentle stroke. You will finish your journey in front of our 15,000-gallon Caribbean Saltwater Aquarium where you might even see a mermaid or two!
