Gainesville Homeschool Noir

Gainesville Homeschool Noir was founded in September 2026 with one simple belief: homeschooling is even more powerful when families have community.

Created to bring Black homeschooling families in Gainesville, Florida together, our mission is centered around four things:
LEARN — Share educational resources, ideas, knowledge and opportunities that help our children thrive.

CONNECT — Build meaningful relationships between Black homeschooling families, parents and children throughout our community.

EXPLORE — Discover Gainesville and beyond through field trips, enrichment activities, cultural experiences, events and hands-on learning.

BELONG — Create a welcoming space where Black homeschool families feel represented, supported, celebrated and connected.

Gainesville Homeschool Noir is a place for educational resources, culturally enriching experiences, family meetups, homeschool conversations, local opportunities and original educational content.

We are creating more than a homeschool community. We are building connections, creating memories, celebrating Black excellence and investing in the next generation.
