High Springs Pioneer Days Festival

Come join us for a day full of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Don’t miss the exciting “Pets Overboard” show, presented 3 times each day, where a cast of pirates and their pets entertain you with a show full of family fun and audience interaction. Also visit their petting zoo and pony rides. Come dressed in a Pioneer Costume and stop by the Chamber booth to have your picture taken to enter the Costume Contest (open to all ages) or bake your favorite pie and drop it off at the Chamber booth to enter the Pie Baking Contest. Stop by Kids Korral, for fun and games for the children. Browse and shop at the wide variety of vendors. Purchase some fine festival food at the Food Court and sit and enjoy live pioneer style music being performed all day by local artist. Don’t forget Heritage Village with its variety of demonstrations of pioneer day skills and Native American performing ceremonial dances and showcasing their life style and crafts. Ole’ fashioned “Shoot Outs” are held twice each day, by the Gunslingers and K-Country’s own Big Red…..protecting the folks of High Springs from the bad guys.
