Dream Team 5k
- When: Saturday, February 17, 2024, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Location: Flavet Field- University of Florida Woodlawn Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611
- Cost: Kids 12 & Under Race for Free. UF/Santa Fe Students race for $23.50 (Students must provide a student ID number) . Non-Students race for $28.50.
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, February 17th, 2024 we will be hosting our 7th annual UF Dream Team 5K at Flavet Field. Our theme this year is "Expedition Everest: Escape the Yeti" so turn your adventure on and get ready for the expedition of your life! Runner check-in will start at 8:00 AM and our race will officially begin at 9:00 AM. There will be food and beverages served for everyone beforehand and afterward. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall female and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall male. The first 200 registered will receive a free Dream Team 5K t-shirt!
Our organization is dedicated to brightening the lives of the children in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU and Pediatric ICU of UF Health Shands Children's Hospital through in-hospital volunteering and out-of-hospital events. All proceeds from this 5K will go towards these initiatives for our patients! Check out our website for more information. https://www.ufdreamteam.org
Please come out and tell all your friends to join in as well! All ages are welcome. There will be prizes, raffles, activities, and crafts. If you are interested in applying to Dream Team in the future, this is a great event to attend to learn what we are all about!
