Our Programs

Shine Program

The GCCS SHINE Program provides a unique school option for students with developmental delays. We launched in August of 2016 and continue to see God’s hand in our program as we grow and learn. We currently serve 7 students in 6th through 12th grade, however we are open to grow as God sees fit.  Give us a call to learn more about the SHINE program for your child.

Little Warriors DAy school

At Lil’ Warriors Day School your child will have fun learning in a Christ centered classroom that promotes literacy, life skills, and much much more! We offer a five or three day option for VPK. We also have a three year old and two year old classes. Great rates and limited space. GCCS is proud to host Little Warriors Day School on our campus! They are an independent preschool that strives to nurture and care for your children. They have a similar mission to GCCS when it comes to the education of your preschooler. We would love to show you around, so call us today or sign up to get you started!

Elementary

Our elementary program provides a strong academic and spiritual foundation for your child. We offer small class sizes, experienced teachers, and a Christ-centered curriculum in a loving environment! We have also added voluntary radKid training sessions throughout the school year for your students to participate in!

Middle and High

GCCS Middle and High School offer precise scheduling for core classes.   In Math, we use the Saxon series. In Science, we use Apologia.  In History, we use the Abeka program. We offer a variety of elective courses like Spanish, Personal Fitness, and Art just to name a few. We also encourage students to Dual Enroll with Santa Fe College their Junior and Senior year. It gives them the opportunity to not only experience the college environment, but also come to any of the teachers at GCCS for guidance and help!

Our students are encouraged to take HOPE (Health Opportunities through Physical Education) through FLVS to fulfill the state’s requirement of one online course and the HOPE credit.

If you’d like to come shadow for a day, please give us a call and schedule your visit. We look forward to meeting you and making you a part of the GCCS family.

CURRICULUM

Our philosophy doesn’t come from what sounds good or from what other people are doing right now. Instead, our teacher-led, character-building philosophy comes from a biblical foundation—Proverbs 22:6a, “Train up a child in the way he should go.”

Because you’re in the driver’s seat, not your students, it means they’re not running you.

Non-Discrimination

Gainesville Christian Community School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privilege’s, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, or other school-administered programs.

Biblical Foundations & Content

There’s structure and organization because that helps students know what to expect—and what’s expected of them—but also because 1 Corinthians 14:40 says, “Let all things be done decently and in order.”

In history, you see God’s hand. In science, you see His design. In grammar, you see His order.

Every subject is approached from a Christian perspective, and you’ll find Scripture and biblical principles used to emphasize or illustrate concepts.
