UF RecSplorers Summer Day Camps

Experience the fun at RecSplorers Summer Day Camps, a new program offered by UF RecSports! Our camps offer your camper the opportunity to explore their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional wellness through UF RecSports activities such as sports, group fitness classes, swimming, and outdoor recreation! Camps will be hosted at our three on-campus facilities - Southwest Recreation Center, Student Recreation and Fitness Center, and Lake Wauburg. Opt in to Afternoon Adventure to extended the fun until 5:15p.

All - Sports Camp
Campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of team and individual sports such as flag football, wiffleball, Taekwondo, and more! Teamwork, sportsmanship, and fine-tuning gross motor skills will be essential themes throughout this camp. Extend your day with Afternoon Adventure to visit nearby museums and explore more recreational activities.

Camp Wauburg - Let’s explore the outdoors! From boating on the lake to hiking through the woods to splashing on the shore, campers can experience what a traditional summer camp is all about. Embrace adventure, make friends, and create unforgettable memories at Lake Wauburg. The location of this camp will depend on the activities for the day and will therefore rotate between North Shore and South Shore.

Fitwell Camp - Dive into camp at the Student Rec and Fitness Center! Explore both aspects of fitness and wellness through group exercise classes, swimming in the Florida pool, and playing summer camp games. Plus, campers will get to experience what the Reitz Union has to offer with field trips to the Arts & Crafts Center as well as the Game/Bowling Room. Stick around for Afternoon Adventure to continue the fun!
