Santa Fe College's CCAMPIS Grant

CCAMPIS Grant Creates College Opportunity for Parents
Santa Fe College has a new opportunity for low-income parents who need child care while taking college classes. The CCAMPIS Grant, which stands for Child Care Access Means Parents in School, offers student-parents financial assistance with child care while attending classes. CCAMPIS is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and funding for this project continues until September 2024.

Eligibility
Parents living in Alachua County Qualified Opportunity Zones (see website for details), located in East Gainesville and southeastern portions of Alachua County would be given priority for financial assistance, based on eligibility. Participants would be required to maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, participate in five hours of community service during the semester and meet other requirements to remain in good standing with the grant.

Applications are now available online at Scholarships then click “SF Scholarship Applications.”

Eligible students will be able to access the CCAMPIS application, listed as “CCAMPIS Childcare Grant Scholarship.”

CCAMPIS Child Care Providers
The CCAMPIS Grant is collaborating with child care providers who are located within Alachua County.

Basic Requirements
• Have a current FAFSA on file with SF Financial Aid Office and be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant
• Have a current GPA of at least 2.0
• Be enrolled, at least part-time, at Santa Fe College during the semester(s) of CCAMPIS participation
• Receive no other child care subsidies
