Hatchetbury, The

The Hatchetbury is Gainesville and Central Florida’s premier axe throwing venue. Axe Throwing is a fun and safe activity for kids aged 10+ and America's fastest growing recreational sport. Just like a bowling alley, we have axe lanes (which are caged off for safety) and there is a target at the end of the lane to hit where points can be scored.

Each axe is light, approximately 1.25lbs, and an 'Ax-pert' takes throwers through the safety rules and basics of throwing an axe. Once throwers are comfortable, we then introduce games.

This is an interesting and memorable activity for children to participate in and they love it. Axe throwing is America's fastest growing recreational sport open to any skill level, promotes team building, increases confidence and guarantees smiles!

*The minimum age requirement is 11 years-old. All 11 to 17 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult and their waiver signed by a parent/guardian. There is no absolutely no age limit!
