UF Cyberbullying Prevention Program

Parents of 5-6th graders are invited to participate in a new program and receive coaching to strengthen your relationship and protect your child from the risks of being bullied or cyberbullied. Compensation is provided. Please note this study is limited to 32 parents total.

This is an 8 session program that will last about an hour – 1.5 hours.

The study team will provide information for families to complete activities during their sessions.

Families who participate will have the option to complete the 8 sessions in their own home, at the school, or in a private room at a community resource center, and sessions will be available in Spanish.

Parents will receive a $50 stipend after each session and resources for referrals if they become distressed during sessions.

They will receive an extra $25 at the end if they complete all 8 sessions, as well as $25 for participating in a focus group at the end of the pilot (total: $370).
