HomeStyles Challenge

HomeStyles Challenge

The University of Florida would like to provide an opportunity to your families to take part in a fun, innovative and free of cost educational program.

Researchers at the University of Florida, Rutgers University, and West Virginia University are inviting preschools to participate in a program called the HomeStyles Challenge. The HomeStyles Challenge is a fun, innovative, and easy-to-implement program that promotes parent engagement, adds value to the services you provide, benefits the families your preschool serves, and builds prestige for your preschool—all at no charge to you or parents!

HomeStyles helps parents of young kids create happier, healthier homes and lifestyles, build stronger family bonds and do an even better job raising their kids. The program was developed especially for parents of preschool kids, so what better place to tell them about it than preschools?

It’s quick and easy for preschools to offer HomeStyles to parents. Preschools let parents know about the online HomeStyles program using the colorful posters and notices we provide, and encourage them to sign-up online. Then every week for 12 weeks they receive an exciting guide full of quick, fun, no-cost tips and ideas on how to make simple changes they want for their families. Each guide takes about 15 minutes to review. Then families spend a few minutes each day making the changes they want.
