Babies don’t come with instructions! - Being a parent is hard work! We can help!
Healthy Families Florida is a free nationally accredited home visiting program for expectant parents and parents of newborns. The program empowers parents through education and community support. Parents voluntarily participate in Healthy Families so they can learn how to recognize and respond to their babies’ changing developmental needs, use positive discipline techniques, cope with the day-to-day stress of parenting in healthy ways.

We educate & coach about:
•Developmental milestones
•Brain Development Activities
•Safety Topics such as safe sleep, coping with crying, Shaken Baby Syndrome, car seat safety, water safety and more
•How to cope with stress and postpartum depression. We have a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who can see you free of charge in the privacy of your home if you wish.
•Help you to feel confident as a parent by providing you with support by trained Family Support Workers

•Is transportation a problem? No worries, we come to you.
•Are you planning to go back to work/school after your baby is born? Healthy Families staff work flexible hours and will work around your schedule.
•Do you think you are not eligible because you make too much money? We work with families no matter what they make. Our program is completely free & there are no income guidelines to meet.
•Are you interested in resources in your community for you and your family? We have them!
