DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The High Springs Historical Society Museum is open every Saturday 11 am to 
 4 pm. The museum is located behind City Hall in the old school building. Th
 e society is invited the public to join them in their effort to inform the 
 public of their great local history.<br /><br />We have new officers and me
 mbers and a new fresh outlook that are working hard to renovate our Museum.
  Our new displays will be historically accurate and we will have a children
 's area so they can run trains themselves.<br /><br />The new diorama will 
 be a model of the Atlantic Coast Line train yard in High Springs, that was 
 started in the 1890's. In addition to the train yard we will have a main st
 reet diorama attached to display the buildings and businesses that will loo
 k like High Springs in that era.
