 ectory Battalion, an all-Black Women’s Army Corps unit that served in Europ
 e during World War II. Facing a massive backlog of 17 million undelivered l
 etters, the Battalion worked tirelessly to restore hope and connection for 
 American troops abroad. Guided by their motto, “No Mail, Low Morale,” these
  women completed their mission in half the expected time—defying obstacles 
 of war, segregation, and limited resources.<br /><br />The production will 
 take place at the historic Gainesville Old Post Office, located at 25 SE 2n

 ompleted in 1911, Gainesville’s Old Post Office served for decades as the c

 ral character and historic elevator, making it a fitting venue to commemora
 te the 6888th Battalion’s legacy.<br /><br />Produced by the Star Center Th
