 volunteer and ranger. This all-ages gathering is a great opportunity to ask
  about how to show your thanks to state parks, volunteer opportunities, abo
 ut wildlife of the Ichetucknee, how to plan your day, and more. Or, you can
  simply enjoy warm pancakes with the morning sounds of the Ichetucknee. The
  public is invited to join the fun anytime within this window.\n\nWe want e
 veryone to be able to enjoy their pancakes. If you require gluten-free panc
 akes or have any other food allergy concerns, please call or email in advan
 ce so that we can be prepared.\n\nFor families planning out their day, we h
 ave coloring sheets, a memory game, and a puzzle always available in our vi
 sitor center. The visitor center also has exhibits to explore and is the he
 adquarters of our Junior Ranger program. Adjacent to the outside of the bui
 lding is the start of our 0.5 mile loop, the Discovery Trail, where you may
  have the chance to see gopher tortoises.\n\nCoffee and pancakes are made p
 ossible thanks to generous donations made to the "Help Our State Parks" fun
 d (HOSP). Although donations are never required, they are always welcomed s
 o that we can continue to offer free programs like this one in the future.
