DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Gainesville Young Birders Club is a birdwatching club for students aged
  9 to 17 seeking to explore local natural areas and learn more about birds 
 and the places they inhabit. Attending students should wear sunscreen and c
 losed-toed shoes and bring water. Loaner pairs of binoculars will be availa
 ble for students who do not have access to a pair. Younger students are wel
 come with an accompanying parent or guardian. No membership in Alachua Audu
 bon is required for any attendees.\n\nMeet trip leaders Adam Kent on the en
 try pavilion by the bathrooms at 9 am. We'll start by exploring Cell 1 and 
 the boardwalk looking for herons, egrets, and bitterns. Time permitting, we
 'll continue to the spillway to see how the wetlands help conserve Gainesvi
 lle water quality while looking out for lingering ducks and other waterbird
 s.\n\nPlease feel free to pass along this walk info to others who may be in
 terested. The YBC will hold walks on a roughly monthly basis through May.
