  plant giveaway and the city is offering a tree giveaway.\n\nThe Florida Mu
 seum’s Daniels Lab researchers will be chatting with guests about the impor
 tance of native plants, wildflowers and more at this family-friendly event!
  Pollinators are an extremely important part of the ecosystem but you don’t
  have to be a researcher to help protect them.\n\nPlanting native flowering
  plants in your yard, patio and even in pots can provide vital habitats and
  food for bees, butterflies, moths and other pollinators. To help you get s
 tarted, the Daniels Lab team and the City of Gainesville are bringing out F
 REE plants and trees to help support pollinator conservation. Pick up free 
 plants and plant for pollinators!\n\nStick around after the giveaway for a

 itor can choose two trees from a variety of species provided by the City of
