 orida Museum’s Daniels Lab researchers will be chatting with guests about t
 he importance of native plants, wildflowers and more at this family-friendl
 y event! Pollinators are an extremely important part of the ecosystem but y
 ou don’t have to be a researcher to help protect them.<br /><br />Planting 
 native flowering plants in your yard, patio and even in pots can provide vi
 tal habitats and food for bees, butterflies, moths and other pollinators. T
 o help you get started, the Daniels Lab team and the City of Gainesville ar
 e bringing out FREE plants and trees to help support pollinator conservatio
 n. Pick up free plants and plant for pollinators!<br /><br />Stick around a
 fter the giveaway for a demonstration and community tree planting event!<br
  />Tree Giveaway<br /><br />Each visitor can choose two trees from a variet
 y of species provided by the City of Gainesville, available on a first come
