  prepared by a park volunteer and ranger. This all-ages gathering is a grea
 t opportunity to ask about volunteer opportunities, about the park, how to 
 plan your day, and more. Or, you can simply enjoy warm pancakes with the mo
 rning sounds of the Ichetucknee. The public is invited to join the fun anyt
 ime within this window. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their pancakes
 . If you require gluten-free pancakes or have any other food allergy concer
 ns, please call or email in advance so that we can be prepared. <br /><br /
 >For families planning out their day, we have coloring sheets, a memory gam
 e, and a puzzle always available in our visitor center. The visitor center 
 also has exhibits to explore and is the headquarters of our Junior Ranger p
 rogram. Adjacent to the outside of the building is the start of our 0.5 mil
 e loop, the Discovery Trail, where you may have the chance to see gopher to
 rtoises. <br /><br />Just after pancakes, we'll be leading "Storytime & Hik
 e with a Ranger". Coffee and pancakes are made possible thanks to generous 
 donations made to the "Help Our State Parks" fund (HOSP). Although donation
 s are never required, they are always welcomed so that we can continue to o
 ffer free programs like this one in the future.
