 rrillee Mallwitz-Jipson will celebrate her birthday as well as those many l
 ocal water lovers with birthday cake for all. The event is also a public ki
 ckoff of the campaign headquarters at Rum 138 for her run as candidate for 
 Florida House District 10. Merrillee will be onsite to answer questions and
  listen to voters’ concerns. \n\nIn the Moment, Rum 138’s original house ba
 nd, will take the stage at 2pm playing “Jamerican” versions of favorites, p
 lus their popular original music. Deeply connected to the Santa Fe River co
 mmunity, the band shares a true love for the river and has proudly hosted a
 nd performed at festivals and events since venues first opened their doors.
  In the Moment holds a special place in local history as the very first ban
 d to grace the Rum 138 stage, helping kick off live music there and buildin
 g lasting ties along the river; a staple in the High Springs and Gainesvill
 e scene, they deliver high-energy performances ideal for fun, dancing, and 
 romancing under the Florida sun. \n\nFronted by the naturally gifted Jamaic
 an singer-songwriter Chris Newman, whose rhythm guitar and soulful vocals s
 et the tone. The lineup shines with Angela Grace on captivating flute, Jeff
  Fuller (aka Monkey Man) laying down seasoned, professional drums, John Der
 mont, a master of music on lead guitar, guitar legend Missi Peterson, and t
 he impeccably smooth bass lines of Linda Dixon.\n\nEddys Patty food truck w
 ill be on site grilling burgers, hot dogs and chicken to order and now also
  serves fresh fruit and vegetable salads. The Rum 138 Bar will be open with
  Sanna and Daisy serving wine, beer, signature strawberry wine slushies, pi
 na coladas and Premium Blend (TM) mixed drinks as well as select NUTRL vodk
 a seltzers and delicious ACE ciders.\n\nRum 138 offers rentals and sales of
  kayaks, canoes and SUPs and features the Springs Art Gallery and the only
