 s an official sponsor of the Tour De Melon in Chiefland, Florida on June 6,
  2026. The Tour De Melon is a longstanding fun-ride sponsored by the Suwann
 ee Valley Rotary Club to coincide with the Watermelon Festival (now in its 
 72nd year).<br /><br />FYT has partnered with the Rotary Club to create a s
 pecial opportunity for kids to participate.<br /><br />We will ride as a gr
 oup at the Tour De Melon as follows:<br />- We will start that morning, jus
 t after 7:00 a.m. in a kids wave where we will ride as a group towards the 
 Putnam Lodge in Cross City.<br />- We will give participants the opportunit
 y to ride with us (out and back) for 8, 21, or 35 miles round trip. We will
  have an adult volunteer assigned to peel back at each of these turnarounds
 , which are at mile markers 4, 10.5, and 17.7 (and are also aid stations).<
 br />- Registered participants will receive all the normal race schwag and 
 the same level of support as the adult riders that morning.<br />
