DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:On January 16th, 2026, we will have an educational day for school children.
On January 17th and 18th, 2026 the 10th annual living history Reenactment
will take place at Otter Springs Park and Campground (bring your lawn chair
s).

The reenactment is hosted by the ForVets veteran support org
anization and co-hosted by the 7th Brigade Sons of Confederate Veterans and
the 1st Brigade Provisional Army of the Confederate States. There will be
three battle reenactments recreating all the engagements of the Cedar Keys
Raid. Saturday will recreate the Levyville, and Clay’s Landing battles and
Sunday's battle will recreate the largest of the raid’s battles at Station
Number Four. Besides the battle reenactments, the public is welcome to tour
the Union and Confederate authentic camps, wander the authentic civilian t
ownship, and peruse the sutlers' row (period merchants who traveled with th
e respective armies).

All the traditional aspects from previous
years will also be returning; Saturday afternoon Ladies' Tea, Saturday nigh
t ball in the main campground lodge building and Church services on Sunday
morning.

All proceeds from this event go to benefit the veterans
’ support efforts of the ForVets organization which owns and manages the pa
rk.

There will be vendors selling food and crafts.
