  to Glory by Russell Wilson is a musical celebration of the American Revolu
 tion inspired by Ron Carter’s epic eight-volume historical-fiction account 
 of the Revolutionary War, “Prelude to Glory”. Arrangements of original Revo
 lutionary period songs coupled with original music like the prayer at Valle
 y Forge with George Washington and the men of the chorus are fun-filled and
  moving. The finale a new majestic hymn that closes the piece “where in Ame
 rica we will dream!” The musical style is very Broadway-esque, like ‘Les Mi
 s’ or ‘Phantom of the Opera’. Celebrate 250 years of the world’s greatest e
 xperiment in freedom.
