 re you interested in animals and want to know firsthand how zookeepers give
  amazing care to the animals at the SF Teaching Zoo?<br /><br />Sign up for
  our "Zookeeper for a Day" program to work alongside a zookeeper for a morn
 ing and learn the ins and outs of zookeeping.<br /><br />This program is av
 ailable for animal enthusiasts ages 9 and up.<br /><br />If you are conside
 ring applying to the Zoo Animal Technology Program, this is a great opportu
 nity to get a sneak peak of what your experience working here would look li
 ke.<br /><br />You must register at least 2 weeks in advance and all regist
 rations must be through Showpass. <br /><br />This program has limited avai
 lability and books up every semester. Due to this, Zookeeper for a Day book
 ings are non-refundable with less than 10 days notice of cancellation. If y
 ou cancel more than 10 days prior to your experience, you are eligible for 
 a refund.<br /><br />This program is offered certain days from 8:00 a.m. – 
 11:00 a.m. At this time, Zookeeper for a Day is limited to one person per d
 ay. <br /><br />Due to special events and the nature of the Zoo Animal Tech
 nology Program, there are blocks of time when the program is not available 
 so zookeepers can have proper training and prepare for events.
