  Alachua County, that is! The Archer Braid 5K & 10K returns this spring, in
 viting runners of all levels to enjoy a flat, fast course along one of Gain
 esville’s most scenic paved trails.\n\nThe race begins at 8 a.m. at the Arc
 her Braid Trailhead in Archer, with both distances following a smooth out-a
 nd-back route through quiet countryside. You’ll find a hydration stop with 
 water and Gatorade at the 5K turnaround, and every race is professionally t
 imed for accurate results.\n\nAwards for overall winners and the top three 
 finishers in each 10-year age group.
