 ct with nature. Learn about the plants and other materials all around us li
 ke kitchen scraps, garden flowers and veggies, native plants, and roadside 
 weeds that produce stunning dyes, inks, and paints. <br /><br />During the 
 workshop, you’ll practice making ink and watercolor paint, and there will b
 e plenty of time to create your own art using these rich, natural colors. T
 his experience is open to everyone—whether you’re a seasoned artist, a plan
 t enthusiast, or just eager to try something new. No prior skills or knowle
 dge are required. All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your ow
 n sketchbook or favorite paint brushes if you’d like. You’ll leave with a d
 etailed instructional handout, small samples of the inks and paints you cre
 ate, and the artwork you’ve made.<br /><br />The workshop is led by Melissa
  DeSa, Working Food’s Seed Program Director and an artist who specializes i
 n creating natural pigments from locally sourced plants and materials found
 , foraged, and grown. All ticket proceeds are donations that directly suppo
 rt Working Food.

 h their own seat and materials then it would be a full ticket price. If the
 y want their kid to come with them but they only get one set of materials t
 o share (ex: parent guiding kid) then we can charge them 1 ticket price.
