 ence member. <br /><br />Join us for an amazing afternoon of dance – a wind
 ow into the future!<br /><br />Directed by Dance Alive Principals Rachel Ri
 dley and Tales Ribeiro, The Next Generation (NG) is DANCE ALIVE NATIONAL BA
 LLET’s Junior Company.  The Company is comprised of 34 students age 8-18 wh
 ose goal is to become professional dancers, choreographers or dance teacher
 s.  The students come from Alachua, Marion and Columbia counties. <br /><br
  />This year’s Spring Concert highlights the talents of the NG Company in a
  traditional classical work, “Don Quixote Suite”.  The work features Leah P
 erine as ‘Kitri’, Dance Alive soloist Stirling Kolb as ‘Basilio’ and DANB C
 orp dancer Victor Mancuso as ‘Don Quixote’. <br /><br />Following intermiss
 ion, an entertaining mixture of ballet, contemporary, jazz and tap with cho
 reography by Co-Directors Ribeiro and Ridley along with two works created f
 or the students by Sissy Bell, a former Pofahl student, Next Gen member, an
 d DANB performer. Ms. Bell has been featured on Broadway in Tootsie, Anasta
 sia and in numerous additional touring and region productions of Chorus Lin
 e, Elf, etc.  Ms. Bell created the work for and on these dancers during int
 ensive workshops last summer.<br /><br />A special treat, guest artist Danc
 e Alive Principal Rosemary Deiorio, who has recently been featured as ‘Juli
 et’ in “Romeo and Juliet” and ‘Swan Queen’ in “Swan Lake” touring through F
 lorida, performs the iconic ‘Dying Swan’.<br /><br />This performance by Ne
 xt Generation provides support for DANB’s educational programs.<br />Sponso
