DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Calling all Junior Rangers! Florida is under siege by undercover invasive p
 lants. Florida is fortunate to have a wide variety of distinct ecosystems a
 nd wildlife, including 230 endemic plant species and 269 endemic animal spe
 cies. That is more than almost any other state. The damage caused by invasi
 ve species is second only to the destruction of habitat through human devel
 opment.\n\nOur recruits will train to become Florida Plant Investigators (F
 PI). Together we'll study our case files in order to learn how to identify 
 local invasive plants and their negative impact. We'll also discuss how to 
 prevent future offenders. Junior Rangers who are inspired to help remove in
 vasive plants in the park after the program should dress to get wet and mud
 dy.\n\nThis will earn our Junior Rangers their "Natural Resources" stamp in
  the Junior Ranger passport. However, participants do not need to enrolled 
 as Jr. Rangers already to join in on the fun. This program will be most app
 ropriate for learners 9+ years old.
