  University Avenue. Be sure to stick around after the parade for a variety 
 of family-friendly activities the whole community can enjoy.\n\nThe holiday
  parade is Saturday, December 6 and leads into the holiday dance party and 
 lights celebration. These events are free and open to the public.\n\nHolida
 y Kids Dance Party at Bo Diddley Plaza 1 pm-3 pm\n\nHoliday Lights Celebrat
 ion in the Thomas Center Gardens 5 pm-8 pm\nExperience the magic of the sea
 son at Gainesville's annual Holiday Lights Celebration! Join us for a festi
 ve evening of holiday cheer with dazzling lights, seasonal activities and e
 ntertainment for all ages.\n\nEvent highlights include:\n• Garden lighting 
 at 6 p.m.\n• Meet and greet with Santa Claus beginning at 6 p.m.\n• Holiday
