  GNV Holiday Parade! Starting at noon, enjoy floats, dancers, live bands, a
 nd more! Kick off the holiday season in style as the parade heads down West
  University Avenue. Be sure to stick around after the parade for a variety 
 of family-friendly activities the whole community can enjoy.<br /><br />The
  holiday parade is Saturday, December 6 and leads into the holiday dance pa
 rty and lights celebration. These events are free and open to the public.<b

 >Holiday Lights Celebration in the Thomas Center Gardens 5 pm-8 pm<br />Exp
 erience the magic of the season at Gainesville's annual Holiday Lights Cele
 bration! Join us for a festive evening of holiday cheer with dazzling light
 s, seasonal activities and entertainment for all ages.<br /><br />Event hig
