 tnership with the City of Newberry, on Saturday, December 20th. This belove
 d event fills the streets with dazzling floats created by our very own comm
 unity, twinkling lights, and cheerful holiday music. Families, friends, and
  neighbors line the streets to watch the procession along Main Street, wavi
 ng and cheering as it makes its way through downtown. Local businesses join
  in the fun with special holiday sales, treats, and activities, adding even
  more magic to the day. It’s a picture-perfect small-town celebration that 
 captures the heart and spirit of Newberry during the holidays.\n\nBefore th
 e parade kicks off, the Newberry Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone 
 to join the fun with their annual Golf Cart Decorating Contest! Neighbors c
 an enter their most festive, creatively decorated golf carts for a chance t
 o win a $50 gift card, then roll right into the parade lineup to show off t
 heir holiday spirit. It’s a lighthearted, community-favorite tradition that
  brings an extra dose of cheer to the streets of Newberry. \n\nWhile visiti
 ng downtown Newberry, guests can't miss Nana’s Gingerbread House Competitio
 n, also hosted by the Newberry Main Street Organization at the Newberry Mun
 icipal Building during and right after the parade! Guests can step inside t
 o warm up with light refreshments, admire the incredible gingerbread creati
 ons, and vote for a favorite. It’s a sweet way to keep the holiday fun goin
 g and support the creativity of our local community bakers and artists.
