 ditions for their 18th Season (2025-2026) on Sunday, August 17, 2025.<br />
 <br />A Mandatory Pre-Audition meeting for all dancers and parents/ legal g
 uardians of dancers planning to audition for SCDT will be held on Wednesday
 , August 13, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at Sun Country Sports – West location. The p
 urpose of this meeting will be to outline and review all information and de
 tails regarding becoming a performing member of SCDT.<br /><br />On-line pr
 e-registration for the auditions is also required for all dancers. All requ
 ired audition documents and links will be provided to parents at the pre-au
 dition meeting. Audition fee is $25 per dancer – due at the time of registr
 ation. The deadline for all completed pre-registration documents and auditi
 on fee payment is Friday, August 15th!<br /><br />Audition details for Sund
 ay, August 17th is as follows:<br />o Senior / Apprentice Company - 12:15-2
 :15 pm<br />-Advanced Level Ballet – ages 14 & up - Must be on pointe.<br /
 >o Teen / Youth Company - 2:30-4:30pm<br />-Intermediate level - Ages 11 & 
 up / Minimum of 5 consecutive years of previous ballet training.<br />o Jun
 ior / Children’s Division - 4:40-6:00pm<br />-Ages 9 & up / Minimum of 3 co
 nsecutive years of previous ballet training.<br />o All auditions will be h
 eld at Sun Country Sports – West location.<br />o Dancers should arrive 20 
 minutes prior to the audition<br />o Girls should wear a black leotard, pin
 k tights, and pink ballet slippers, with hair in a slick classical ballet b
 un (no bangs). Advanced level dancers should bring pointe shoes. Boys shoul
 d wear appropriate classical ballet class attire.<br />o To confirm an appr

 tistic Director.<br /><br />Sun Country Dance Theatre (SCDT) is the residen
 t non-profit performing company of DANCE Sun Country at Sun Country Sports 
 Center. SCDT is dedicated to nurturing and developing the artistic talent o
 f our youth by providing pre-professional training and performance opportun
 ities for the talented young dancers of our community. SCDT performs annual
 ly at numerous community and charitable events, presents educational outrea
 ch programs for underserved youth, and culminates each season with a formal
  spring concert held at the Phillips Center, featuring original story balle
 ts and diverse works by resident and guest choreographers.<br /><br />Membe
 rship in Sun Country Dance Theatre is offered through audition without rega
 rd to race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or national origin. Sponsorship as
